Positively Purple with Rosemary Phillips

Singer-songwriter and medium Rosemary Phillips is holding a home concert of singalong music and clairvoyant messages at Nanoose Bay on Friday, February 27, 2009. Rosemary has a voice like sun-warmed honey, and she's a natural born clairvoyant medium. She has been performing for most of her life and has released two CDs "Homemade with Rosemary" and "Me and My Guitar" and is the author/illustrator of the children's book and song "One Seed" which has been toured the province.

Rosemary combines her talents to present an evening of music interwoven with mediumship and stories. Between songs Rosemary connects directly with members of the audience bringing links from the Spirit world and other realms - to provide messages of hope, comfort, encouragement, humour, laughter and love, to show that life continues after life and that there is definitely more to life than we realize or could even begin to imagine. It will be an evening of fun as the audience sings along with both original songs and favourite cover tunes by popular artists like John Denver and Elvis Presley, maybe even a show tune or two and some traditional songs like the Gift of Love, Skye Boat Song or Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi. Songs are chosen specifically for each concert to bring a particular message or meaning to one and more members of the audience. Rosemary carries binders with a collection of over 250 songs to choose from because songs may get changed throughout the performance depending upon the inspiration of the moment and messages that are coming through. There will be an intermission for refreshments and mingling. For more information call 250-468-1811. An admission of $15 per person will be charged.

UPDATE: The date of this event has been changed to Friday, March 13, 2009. Check with the organizer.
