Cinderalla Musical Pantomime

Lady Smith's Little TheatreLady Smith's Little Theatre is in full swing with some exciting and colourful entertainment for the festive season, including Cinderalla from December 31, 2008, to January 4, 2009. This musical pantomime will come to life on the little theatre stage during Christmas week, culminating with a party and light buffet supper on New Year's Eve. "Pantomimes are so much fun once you know how they are done!" So say the words in just one of the songs in this lively musical comedy, written for a family audience, and for the first time at the little theatre, cast entirely with local talent.

Always up to no good, Cinderella's ugly sisters, Fangella and Clawdina, played by Ladysmith actors Bruce Mason and Jo Kelly, and a very spiteful Step mother, Janice Graham - Andrews, are determined that Cinderella, will never go to the ball. However, with the help of Taco, Titbit, and Tetley T, three little mice played by Hayley Primrose, Kristina DeClark, and Rayshell Doyle, and Velcro, played by Terry Whittaker, the wicked plan is averted and Cinderella eventually finds her prince. There's a new twist to this classic fairy tale, and when you add Ladysmith actors, Bobbi Rowntree, as Cinderella, Alex Watt as the handsome Prince Kendrick Charming, Brett Trimble as Dandini, Alan Watt as King Humperding, and Shellie Trimble as the Fairy Godmother, you know you’re in for some exciting and fun entertainment.

Directed by Judi Whittaker, produced by Lesley Parent, and written by husband and wife team, Terry and Judi Whittaker, reservations are definitely recommended either by phone at 250-245-0658.
