Bowen Road Farmers Market

From late May to early October the Bowen Road Farmers Market sets up at Beban Park, 2300 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, every Wednesday from 4 pm to 7 pm. Park your vehicle in front of the swimming pool and cross the street to the long row of market vendors. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on fresh vegetables and meats while enjoying the local atmosphere. The baked goods available here are excellent, including healthy whole grain bread and sugar-free cakes and pies. Even the preserves are interesting. Come out and support the 100 Mile Diet by buying locally.
