Wild Water, Wild Earth
In honour of the Centennial of the Pacific Biological Station, Mark Angelo will be presenting Wild Water, Wild Earth at the Port Theatre, Nanaimo, at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Angelo is head of the Fish, Wildlife, and Recreation Program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology in Burnaby. He's also a world renowned teacher, conservationist, and kayaker concerned with the vanishing cultures and wild places of our world. His travelogue will introduce some of the world's most beautiful waterways, from Antarctica, the Himalayas, Africa, and the Canadian wilderness. Tickets are $5 per person, plus a $1 Port Theatre order fee, and all proceeds other than the order fee will go to The Nature Trust of British Columbia.
