Coyotes Café Turner Road

North Nanaimo has its fair share of trendy cafes including Serious Coffee, 6357 Hammond Bay Road, and Haz-Beans Coffee House, 4890 Rutherford Road. Now the local Coyote’s Cafe chain has revamped and reopened the former Esquires Café at #4 – 5771 Turner Road, just across the parking lot from the Longwood Brewpub. The red tile flooring, wicker chairs, and tile tables are all new and the whole place has been freshened up.

As at the well-established Coyote’s Café location at 1045B Terminal Ave., Coyote’s at Longwood Station offers a $2.50 latte special on Tuesdays, a savings of 50 cents! For the summer heat, consider ordering an iced latte on the rocks. The outdoor seating opposite the Blue Ginger Restaurant is great at this time of year. Breakfast bagels, toasted sandwiches, and wraps are available daily from 7 am to 6 pm.

Coyote’s third location at #101 – 572 Stewart Ave. is still undergoing renovations after a mysterious fire last September and the owners hope to have it back in operation by November, 2007.
