Marine Vista Nanaimo

Marine Vista NanaimoAn upscale eight-story condominium is currently under construction at 225 Rosehill Street, corner of Vancouver Avenue, Nanaimo. It's barely 10 minutes on foot north of Maffeo Sutton Park, an easy walk away from the varied entertainment venues downtown. Marine Vista was designed by Nanaimo architect Robert Boyle. The developer is Total Environments (1991) Ltd. led by Graham Evans, a veteran builder with several decades of experience.

All but two of the 23 deluxe condos at Marine Vista will have two bedrooms and a den. Each unit will get a large balcony facing Nanaimo Harbour and the end apartments will have second decks facing north or south (only two or three units are on each floor). The views from the upper levels are just superb. Soaring ceilings, spacious windows, hardwood flooring, granite countertops, heat recovery systems, and quality appliances are being built into this top end project. Secure underground parking has been provided.

Marine Vista is solid concrete and steel – there's nothing cheap about this place. Work is well underway with the exterior structure already in place. It's expected the first owners will be able to begin moving in around the end of May, 2008. Marketing is being handled by the Thompson/Godfrey Group and the best units are sure to sell fast even though this property is highly priced for Nanaimo.

UPDATE: The developer received occupancy permission from the City of Nanaimo on 9 June 2008 and a few owners have already moved in.
